Molly Comeaux

Legal Support Coordinator

Molly Comeaux (she/they) is a Legal Support Coordinator for the PCJF. In this role, she works with attorneys, law students, and legal workers across the country to build and strengthen capacities to respond to the arrests or suppression of activists and organizers. She is a rising 3L at CUNY Law School in New York City interested in protest and movement law work. Hailing from Texas, she is passionate about bolstering organizing power against political persecution from the state through creative and assertive legal strategizing.

While at CUNY, she has organized around the institution’s Islamophobic and anti-Palestinian discrimination over the past year through both direct actions and legal interventions. More recently, she led efforts to develop a legal jail support infrastructure now used by organizers across NYC as mass arrests and brutality have become increasingly common. She was also involved in organizing Know Your Rights trainings and legal support for encampments across the city.

Molly is eager to continue working to support and defend organizers as we courageously demand a more just and humane world. When not at school or organizing, she can be found foraging in the woods or enjoying a drag show.
