Sira Anissa Irina Thiam
Paralegal & Research Fellow

Sira Anissa Irina Thiam serves as a Paralegal/ Research Fellow for the PCJF. In her role, she handles FOIA document reviews and writes research documents for upcoming litigation.
Sira also works part-time as Intersectional Discrimination Project Officer at Minority Rights Group International where she develops research on people with disabilities in the global south. Previously, she worked as a Research Fellow in the Atlantic Fellows Program at the London School of Economics and Political Science where she co-created an inequalities glossary.
Sira earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs with a minor in French from George Mason University. She holds a Master of Science in Inequalities and Social Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
When not working, Sira is busy traveling and thrifting.
