The U.S. District Court for the District of New York ruled that the FDA must make emergency contraception pills available to all ages over-the-counter.
Judge Korman called the FDA’s previous restrictions on the pills “arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable.
The PCJF represented the plaintiffs in the case, seeking expanded access to the pills.
