
Newly obtained documents indicate the New York Police Department may have committed constitutional violations by deploying undercover officers to monitor peaceful Black Lives Matter protests, following the death of Eric Garner in 2014. For more on this, human rights attorney Mara Veryheyden-Hillard joins RT America’s Anya Parampil, saying that the NYPD is acting similarly to other federal agencies in using anti-terrorism funding allocated since September 11, 2001 to undermine “lawful, fight amendment rights.”
